From the studio

I’m working on a mangrove painting inspired by the gorgeous mangrove forests around Darwin.

I took photos and did some ink drawings on site last year. Now in isolation in Melbourne I’m enjoying remembering how it felt to be in that primeval environment - the clarity of the light, the mysterious forms.
