This work began during a life drawing session of short poses, using markers pens. I returned to this work some time later and played with form and space intuitively using acrylic paint, finding figures in the forest. As the work progressed I found myself thinking of what Venus and the Three Graces might mean to us in contemporary times, especially in springtime.
